In 2015, I was pregnant with my first baby.
I needed a mentor (like I am now) to help me learn some mental skills for when I felt like things were spinning out of control
In 2017, I was pregnant with my second baby.
I needed a mentor (like I am now) to help me remember that postpartum preparation is necessary; let's not skimp on that
In 2020, I was pregnant with my third baby.
I needed a mentor (like I am now) to hold my hand and help me ride all the waves of emotions that came during that season
In 2022, I was pregnant with my fourth baby (see right and below).
I needed a mentor (like I am now) to guide me to building a support system that would sustain me and help me heal postpartum
When I work with you, we will take a look at where you're at and see what I can help you with when it comes to mentoring; while I like to include everything I mentioned above in a class series, we will decide to emphasize some more than others depending on where you're at.
I have given birth to four children in 7.5 years; first at a hospital, next at a birth center (caught in rush hour traffic on the way there; committed in that moment if I were ever to give birth again, I would just stay home), and so I did stay home for my last two births. Each was an incredible, meaningful, spiritual, overwhelming experience filled with big feelings (and always the generous support of my husband).
I am married to my incredible husband, Alden. He is so much more than I could have ever hoped for in a partner. He helps me raise our four children, he helps me design my website, he helps me achieve so many of my dreams (even though sometimes they are costly). Added bonus: he's incredibly attractive and if there's a game with a ball, he's sure to make points (and defend the other team from making points); it's like his life's mission, so if you want to play ball, he's in.
